So here is the deal w/ Sharp Portable Air Conditioners expensive yes, as efficient as a window a/c unit no, but that is neither here or there or you could say that is open for another argument but not today. In 2004 we started to sell Portable Air Conditioners we started with 8 manufactures we are done to 3. 2 were from Asia and they stop selling in the US because they were shit. One gave poor customer service so they were out, another one does not have any models w/ 410A refrigerant. Don't want to go into great detail about 410A Google it later after you finish this article... In January 2010 any appliance w/ a compressor needed to have 410a refrigerant b/c it more Eco friendly or green, items made in 2009 and before use R22 so one of the manufactures we sell their product only has R22 which means the unit was made at the earliest December 2009, but lets be honest All the HVAC and appliance manufactures knew about this rule for yearssssss so most switched over in 2009 or before because it takes to to set up a new assembly line... So if you see a Portable A/C unit new factory sealed w/ R22 only buy it if its for a really good deal because chances are its sitting in the box at a warehouse for 3-5 years, and if it breaks you will not be able to get parts for it... So as I was saying about Sharp Portable A/C unit. they are the best ones on the market that I have sold since 2004 so spend the money and buy a sharp unit... the following are the models we sell
Sharp CV2P-10SX Single Hose Portable Air Conditioners , Sharp CV2P-12SX Portable Air Conditioners , Sharp CV2P-13SX Portable Air Conditioners , Sharp CVPD-13PX Dual Hose Portable Air Conditioners
